San Francisco Wedding Film | St. Dominic’s Catholic Church & Sir Francis Drake Hotel

A quintessential San Francisco wedding film is that of the enchanting wedding day capturing the story of Nadine – a ballerina bride joining in marriage with her soul mate, Edward in the heart of the city. This film showcases a perfect fall day in the heart of San Francisco featuring rolling clouds as the images of the sapphire sea draw you in to witness the pure romance of our most emotion provoking film to date. A perfect ceremony led by a jovial priest surrounded by the old world beauty and awe inspiring stained glass windows of the beautiful Gothic style St. Dominic’s church. Followed by a romantic stroll throughout Union Square highlighting an urban elegance only found in the city. A finale brimming with opulence, cascading orchids, luxury and the most stunning & beautifully choreographed first dance performance ends this day with fascination and awe creating the perfect ending to this fairytale wedding.

We were so fortunate to work with such a lovely couple that planned their perfect day flawlessly, were a joy to be around and created the footage for us to be able to create this outstanding film. We were also able to work with incredibly talented vendors including Yuliya M. Photography which truly captured the day beautifully from beginning to end.

Nadine and Edward truly thought of each and every detail as they made their fairytale day come to life, from the elegant jewelry to the personalized bowl it was photographed in. St. Dominic’s Catholic Church is a majesty all on its own, the gothic architecture and stunning stained glass windows add an old world elegance to the beautiful ceremony.

Walking the streets with the joyful newlyweds on the bustling streets of San Francisco in Union Square was an adventure that brought joy to each and every person that witnessed the magic before them. After embarking on this romantic, urban stroll we entered the exquisite Kimpton Sir Francis Drake Hotel for the celebratory reception. Cascading orchids and magnificent floral arrangements by the incredibly talented Ochun Floral & Design were at every turn, including their dazzling cake.

In all our years capturing weddings, this was the first we were fortunate to film for a professional ballerina which choreographed the most incredible first dance that we’ve ever witnessed. The dance alone gives goosebumps, creates smiles from ear to ear and rid the room of any dry eye just by watching the emotion provoking performance as Nadine & Edward stepped together on their first dance as husband and wife.
